A Fourth of Reflection: Remembering America’s Ideals Amid Autocracy and Division

Happy 4th of July! 😁 🎆 We truly hope it is, it's important to remember what America was and acknowledge what it now is. An autocracy. For those who don't know the word, it means a government grossly ran by one person.

Trump Says->Congress finds a way to do it->The Federal or Supreme Courts interprets it and it's allowed to happen legal or not.

We hate politics to be honest but as an analyst it is a necessity.😒 If you want to be a good investor and more importantly a better team member you have to be vocal and honest.

In a Democracy the goal of a political party is to capture the will of the people it helps you win votes and it stabilizes the country. The Democratic party knows this and has wisely stepped up for the American people. There is however something to consider....

The Republican Party shifted from prioritizing the people of the United States to gain power, to now doing whatever is best for their optics. If that means lying and saying one thing and doing another they do it. Loyalty is now to the party not the country. That party is now dictated by Trump. First it was to get appointed and then it was to maintain an optic of unity to hold onto their power. And the same could be said for the judges who lean right and got appointed by similar means.

A large portion of Republicans likely know or at least feel like they are to deep in now to turn away, or even worse don't and just feel like there's more to gain. It's a ghost in the shell situation; they are now coerced into wrongful actions, and taught to have a guilty conscious for survival for themselves and their party which they hold above all.

So if that means denying election results to stay in power or meddling in some way Trump and by extension his posse will 100% do it and already are. You can just see trump's excitement. There's no recognition of the pain caused or that will be caused. In a combat scenario I want the guy who's calm and energized not jumping around excited because he gets to use a cool high tech explosive. It's an easy way to get people hurt. He is clearly conceiving a way where he doesn't need anybody at all to do what he really wanted to to begin with and now doesn't have to hold back on his view points because of other people.

Midterms are still 18 months out. Regimes like this, like we said before, become an immovable object which meets the people(AKA the unstoppable force, the will of the people). What typically happens is the military or enforcement agencies, start to be used to "quell" usually at some point reaching executions and imprisonments of lawful citizens. One gives way and is rooted out.

Having worked with some very exclusive departments whose acronyms we'll leave out we can say that typically what you do here is appeal to a persons compassion, or give them a means of defeating what they fear most, or a means to survive in exchange for turning on the regime or criminal organization to defeat it. We haven't seen much of that and we'll likely see harsh days.

We wanted to leave a message as we enter the week of the 4th and prepare for a well-earned break after another high-profit month. Major Dick Winters of the 101st Airborne once said, “You salute the rank, not the man.” We celebrate the country for what it represents and should be—the values upon which it was founded—not the openly corrupt thing it has become. Just as soldiers are taught to look past the person and see the values, so too should we look to do the same. Immigrant or not, U.S. citizen or not, if these values hold true to you, then you are American—if not more so than many born here.

As we celebrate, we must remember: “American” comes from within. May the 4th be with you.

I was raised on the values of the idea of being American—not the entitlement of being born here. We pledged to the flag daily. It hung in every classroom. We learned its history—even the ugly parts—so we could become better, more accepting of others. And we learned of its heroes.

I was taught to see no difference between myself and someone who lives by the values of kindness, courage, integrity, and the will to succeed. Though oceans separated us from much of the world, we still reached outward—often at our own expense—to help others, even while neglecting issues at home. We built alliances not for dominance but for progress. We taught, we shared knowledge, and we worked to empower others.

Now, as we look around at what’s unfolding, we must ask: Is this still the America we believed in? Who is truly American today? Is it the divider-in-chief? Those who ignore the damage caused by his allies? The enablers of corruption in Congress or the judiciary? Those rich living comfortably at the expense of others who suffer?

Or is it those who fight for equality?

Those who seek peace?

Those who help others, even at a cost to themselves?

Those striving to better their lives and improve society?

To me, “American” was never a destination—it was a way of being, a pursuit of something greater. If these are you then you too are American.

As Americans we strive to embody:

Courage

Going beyond the call of duty, even if at personal risk.

Sacrifice

Putting mission and others above self—even at great cost.

Integrity

Staying true to moral principles, even under pressure.

Patriotism

Loving one’s country and serving its true values.

Duty

Standing up to protect and support others, regardless of the danger.

Honor

Living with the highest standards of conduct.

Freedom / Liberty

The right to think, speak, and live freely—including freedom of speech, religion, press, and assembly.

Equality

Belief that all people deserve justice and fairness.

Individualism

Valuing responsibility, self-reliance, and personal achievement.

Democracy

A government truly by and for the people.

Opportunity

The belief that anyone, from any background, can succeed through effort and determination.

The 4th is a reminder—not just of history—but of the values we’re called on to live by.

We believe market dynamics will begin to reflect numbers similar to the pandemic for employment and smaller businesses. Just remember the government has no intention of helping you or it will destroy their tax plan 😬. Larger businesses will likely struggle to build on growth excluding those in favorable industries.

Our company is now officially more stable than the country and less likely to go bankrupt than it 🏦 also more profitable lol 😂🤘approaching that 170k!

Economically things will begin to sway so buckle up and May God Please Bless America.
